The Supreme Judicial Court Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services today announced that it is seeking nominations for the 2024 Adams Pro Bono Publico Awards. Named for attorneys John Adams and John Quincy Adams, the Adams Awards honor Massachusetts lawyers, law students, law firms, and legal organizations that have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to providing pro bono services for the benefit of individuals of limited means. Trial Court Launches Family Treatment Courts in the Juvenile Court (3/13)

Trial Court Awarded Federal Grant For Substance Use Disorder Treatment

Trial Court Chief Justice Heidi E. Brieger and Trial Court Administrator Thomas G. Ambrosino today announced that the Trial Court has received a grant from the U.S. Department of Justice that will be used to pilot an initiative in Chicopee District Court and Holyoke District Court to connect court-involved individuals with substance use disorders to treatment and recovery services.
