They have a collection of Law Reviews and bar Journals. They also have State Session Laws for all 50 states (these are laws passed by the Legislature and in Massachusetts are called the Acts and Resolves).

Hein also has Federal materials including, Federal Legislative Laws and compiled Federal Legislative Histories (these are organized by public law number and popular name). Hein is useful for old federal legislative and regulatory history.

Another thing that sets Hein apart is that they have old legal treatises including “Blackstone’s Commentaries”. They also have old case law from Colonial Times.
