On May 14, Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers, Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, the Association of Legal Administrators, Boston Chapter and the Social Law Library teamed up to offer a unique lunch program, “Sailing on Troubled Waters: Helping the Attorney in Crisis.” The program was designed to give managing partners, human resources managers and legal administrators from public and private organizations a framework for responding appropriately when personnel experience a crisis. The program began with an eloquent greeting from Hon. Margot Botsford, Supreme Judicial Court, and was followed by thoughtful presentations by the following mental health professionals: Barbara Bowe, LICSW, LCL’s Senior Clinician, Andrew Kang, JD, LICSW, Boston Professionals Counseling, LLC, and Arden O’Connor, MBA, founder of O’Connor Professional Group.
