63 Social Law Members from Government Agencies and Private Practice Attend Member Orientation Program

Posted: May 06, 2014

On May 1st 63 Social Law members from various Massachusetts agencies, law firms and solo practitioners came together at the Social Law Library to learn how to make the most of their membership.

Attendees learned about our team of expert reference attorneys who are available to answer member questions about legal research and documents via phone, email and in person. Brian Harkins, Esq., Senior Reference Attorney, showed attendees how to navigate our collection via our online catalog and how to search our substantive and administrative law databases. Attendees let us know that this program was valuable to them and asked us to provide more training sessions on how to use specific databases, such as Fastcase and Lexis. Watch this space for announcements about upcoming member orientations and legal research training programs. If you have a suggestion for a Social Law program, or to arrange for individual or group instruction, please contact us today. If you are not yet a Social Law member and want to know more about our benefits please contact Michael Saporito, Direct of Membership, at 617-226-1343 or msaporito@socialaw.com.
