Updates on Access to the Library
To effectuate the Supreme Judicial Court’s Order of April 1st Restricting Court Appearances to Emergency Matters, the Social Law Library will be closed to all visitors, including dues paying-members and governmental users until at least May 4, 2020.
Reference Attorneys remain on site to triage essential and pressing requests by phone (617-226-1520) or email (email@example.com). They have full access to the Library’s 500,000 volume paper-based collection of legal materials, microfiche holdings, ebooks and major legal research databases typically available for use by patrons at the Library. If Library members need an item from the collection, the staff can retrieve it and, when permitted by copyright, fax or PDF it via email.
All items currently checked out will have a due date of May 11, 2020 or later. If you have a question about items you have checked out, please contact the Circulation Desk at 617-226-1500 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
