Supreme Judicial Court handed down a decision in favor of the City of Newton in a dispute with a real estate developer who wanted to place three hundred plus apartments on a commercially zoned property. The Court ruled that Newton did not violate the anti-snob zoning law, chapter 40B by denying a permit for the project, which would have included eighty –four affordable units. Read Slip Opinion:
