Alternative Dispositions in the District Court: Everything You Need to Know About Recovery Court

This presentation will guide attorneys through Recovery Court practice, including eligibility, program structure, probation violation procedures, and effective defense strategies. It will also cover handling relapse-based violations and advocating for treatment-focused dispositions to achieve better outcomes for clients while promoting long-term recovery and public safety. Attendees will hear perspectives from the bench, probation, court clinician, and defense on post-conviction matters in Recovery Court.
CPCS approved 2.0 credits per session for the Criminal Trials and Mental Health Appeals panels. CLE credit, when applicable, is only granted when 80% of the live webinar is attended.
