2025 Search & Seizure Series
Day 1 – WARRANTLESS SEARCHES
Topics will include: Field Interrogation Observations (FIOs), Terry Stops, When a seizure occurs, Equal Protection concerns, Discovery issues
Day 2 – SEARCH WARRANTS
Topics will include: The nuts and bolts of search warrants, Probable cause, Nexus, Scope, Confidential informants and Aguilar-Spinelli, Special Issues with Digital Evidence including cell phone searches and social media posts
Approved 2.0 credits for each day for the Criminal Trials and Appeals, and YAD Appeals panels.
$75 to attend one session
$125 to attend both sessions
