Justices Reverse Tax Conviction for “Sloppy Bookkeeping”

On March 22 the United State Supreme Court decided that a Buffalo New York business owner, Carlo Marinello, should not have been convicted of obstruction of an Internal Revenue investigation, for failure to document some transactions and destruction of financial records. Read Full Article

School System Not Liable For Bullied Student’s Paralysis

On February 27 the Supreme Judicial Court ruled that the Lynn Public School Department was not liable under the Massachusetts Tort Claims Act for failing to stop the bullying that resulted in quadriplegia for an elementary student. Read Full Article
