THE DESIGN TEAM
|
The first meeting of the Design Committee for the Historic Suffolk County Courthouse took place on Tuesday, November 24, 1998. From that date to the present the Design Committee (now called the Executive Committee) has continued to meet on a monthly schedule. Over a period of more than three years the group has reviewed program documents, schematic design, design development plans and construction documents. Even with the award of the renovation contract to Suffolk/NER, A Joint Venture, the Executive Committee continues to oversee the progress of the renovation and develop plans to move into the building.
