Presented by Commissioners of the Cannabis Control Commission
Faculty: Britte McBride, Esq., Commissioner; Katherine D. Laughman, Esq., KP Law, Boston; Professor Julie E. Steiner, Western New England University School of Law; Cannabis Control Commission staff; Kim Napoli, Esq., Cannabis Advisory Board
This program will present an overview of the recently promulgated Cannabis Control Commission regulations, 935 CMR 500.000, by members of the Cannabis Control Commission and its staff. Other presenters may include municipal attorneys who advise cities and towns on options available to them for planning for legal marijuana establishments. This wide-ranging discussion will incorporate topics that include licenses and the licensing process; operational requirements; and municipal controls. The panel discussion will be a great primer for anyone, but may be of particular interest to solo practitioners and smaller firms interested in learning about this new industry and how it will be implemented in the Commonwealth.
